That horrendous night can’t be rinsed off from my memory. It has left a lasting imprint on my mind and soul.  My friend and I were caught in that fuss which took my friend’s life and left me numb. I tried to help my friend till I started bleeding, but couldn’t support her much and she was dishonoured to my dismay.

What was our mistake? Was being out at midnight and catching a bus to reach our destination our fault? Was being a girl her mistake? Was I at fault that I wasn’t able to protect her from those beasts? Whom do I blame? Or hadn’t we been there at that time then she would have been alive.

I get goosefleshes whenever that night comes across my mind.

Well, the justice has been done, but not completely. One of the main accused was sentenced only for 3years coz he was juvenile. Was the offense that trivial that the guy was left with such an easy punishment? How can he be juvenile if he had those balls of committing that atrocious crime? But, our law has been made like that. I just wish that people become more sensible towards our women and stop harassing them any way. Torturing and outraging the honour of women is worse than murdering someone.
