These paper bags are made by Archana. She is an acid attack victim and lives in Faridabad (Delhi NCR). The bags are made from newspapers to encourage reusability of environment friendly materials. Double layer of news paper is used to give enough strength to these bags. The bags can be reused multiple times and they are equipped with thick thread made handles and bottom is re-enforced with cardboard to prevent rupture from loading.

All the money raised by selling these paper bags will be given to her to support her financially. Your support will encourage Archana to put in more hard work and give her a hope that her world has not ended yet. She will gain enough courage to face the world with more confidence and will live a respectable life.

Atijeevan Foundation is sponsoring all her basic needs and will continue to do so with all of your support. We at Kindheartz are offering full hearted support to Atijeevan and Archana.

A sweet girl and only darling daughter of her parents Archana had dreams like other girls which she wanted to fulfil. But the filthy act of acid attack had ruined her life completely.
Archana was born in a small village in Bulandshahar in a loving Family but things got ugly when she was acid attacked by her Neighbour who wanted to marry her.
The boy had one sided love for Archana and was continuously disturbing Archana for past many years. Annoyed by Archana’s continuous negative response, the boy finally decided to ruin her life and poured acid her face.

Till date she has went through 29 surgeries and still counting. She needs lot of money to get all the surgeries done. To help her and all the acid attack Survivor Atijeevan Foundation has come up with the Social Enterprise plan.
We  at Atijeevan, strongly believe that mere charity and money giving is only the first step towards a solution for this issue, as the acid attack crime leads to extreme social alienation of the victim. Most of these victimized women are deemed unfit for marriage or employment due to the permanent disfigurement of their faces. This social enterprise allows such victims the opportunity to not only earn their own livelihoods, but also to find and embrace their own sense of dignity and self-worth.
Help and motivate Archana and all the Survivors to earn their Livelihood and support their Surgeries with Dignity.
